RACE DETAILS
West Point, Kentucky sits on the Ohio River just south of Louisville, and north of Ft. Knox. It is likely to see a Black Hawk, Chinook, or other military aircraft flying overhead during the weekend while out on training drills. The Ft. Duffield trails are known as a classic to many KY and IN MTB riders as it's been the host of Freeride features, Downhill races, and more modernly, the Enduro spot local to Louisville. We're excited as this race will bring new school flow mixed with old school technical, and narrow racing. The runs are short, the climb is paved, and the times will be tight! Don't miss out!
SATURDAY - Practice & Chill
On-site registration open 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, $100 on site price. You can also grab your number plate during this time, ask questions, more. Keep an eye on social media, news page, and email about practice, rain/wind plans and more. West 6th Brewing, a Lemme Get A Bite, and Juanito's Street Tacos will slinging food and drinks all day. 3:00 PM - DARK KYMBA Louisville Swap Meet Bring your stuff to sale or trade! $20 to setup a full table, $10 to setup a half table (you can split sides with a buddy). There are a few tables at the venue. We suggest to bring your own. The money goes directly to KYMBA Louisville. We will have a bike rack for bikes to hang out on that are for sale during the Swap Meet. Look for more info on this closer to time. We hope to have a beer and food vendor setup too. You don't have to be racing to come participate! |
SUNDAY - RACE
No Day of registration 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM check in and pick up your timing chips (you can't race without it!) Rider's Meeting at 8:30 AM - Pedal to stage 1 starting at 9:00 AM West 6th Brewing and a Maillard Wood Fired Kitchen will be around during and after the race to cap off your race weekend. |
COURSE DETAILS
STAGE 4 IS A SURPRISE!
PARTY LAPPERS
A lot of folks are excited about Party Lappers addition to our races. This is what it looks like:
- You get a time, but you're only racing yourself
- You can skip any stage you're not comfortable with
- You get all the benefits that racers get, minus a podium spot.
This is the perfect category for Jr's not ready for all stages, or new racers who are still growing their skills. There is no shame in this category and opens the door for relaxed and fun involvement in the event. If you have questions, reach out!

CAMPING
Yeah, it's FREE!
The City of West Point has been great to work with and we have KYMBA Louisville and KYMBA Lincoln to thank for that relationship as they communicate with city officials regularly to help building up this asset of a riding are we all know as Ft. Duff. There is free camping just down the road 1 mile (flat and easy) from the Ft. Duffield parking lot/ Race HQ. You can setup here Friday and leave everything planted until you pack up and head home Sunday evening.
Things to know include:
- We will have Porto-Johns, there are no showers here.
- Flat area with gravel for vans/trucks, grassy area for tents
- If you camp, we will ask you to ride from camp on race/practice day (limited parking available). We can hold a bag for you at registration if needed. It's only 1 mile (flat and easy) from Race HQ.
We will have more info on this closer to time with specifics requests and housekeeping notes. Know that there is plenty of room if you wish to camp. Spots will be first come first serve.
