CAMPING INFO

JENNY WILEY STATE PARK CAMPING CLOSED,
Free camping on top of the mountain.

Picture
Camping Area 1: TENTS
Camping Area 2: Trailers, Vans, Rooftop tents.

The Jenny Wiley State Park campground is closed as flood relief victims are filling most of the campground. The area of the campground we use for the XC racing is not being used, and we will continue to use that for XC like normal for Saturday. The City of Prestonsburg has opened up space on top of the mountain for primitive camping. You can park campers, trucks, vans as well in this area. Note that there will be no camper hookups, power, sewer, water etc to hook up to. To reserve a spot please do so on the race registration website.

SHUTTLE INFO

PURCHASE ON REGISTRATION PAGE
Shuttle is free for REGISTERED RIDERS ONLY!

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PLATE ON YOUR BIKE AND A SIGNED WAIVER TO ACCESS THE SHUTTLE.

Want to shuttle but not race? Great, we have an option for that. Check out our category called “Party Lappers”. You get to enjoy all the benefits of racing such as a number plate, getting times, being entered into giveaways, and more. We consider this a non-competitive category and helps get you access to all of the fun.

For this event we’re giving 100% of the money from the Party Lappers category to support a local Animal Shelter project in town. So, look at your registration for Party Lappers being a donation for your shuttle laps. This was decided by the trail stewards, that they wanted proceeds from the race to help a project in town, we're all for it.

We couldn’t host this race without the city/county/park pulling all the stops to make this shuttle support so many riders. Support the area and sign up!

Shuttle times:
Friday: Self Shuttle only.
Saturday: 11 AM - 4:30 PM Last Shuttle Up
Sunday: 10 AM - All racers are finished.

SELF SHUTTLE

We do suggest you self shuttle if you have the ability. Doing this with a family member or friend who is there just to hang out helps things run smoother, quicker, etc. If you do self shuttle the laws of the road apply, so you take all risk and responsibility for this. We will have enough space with the provided shuttle, however in practice you can likely get more laps doing it yourself.
